Magic Tricks For Kids

Magic can be defined as the art of illusion and distraction in which a person believes that the impossible can be achieved. The reason why magicians have for a long period of time captured and left audiences in aw is because of the level of suspense and mystery that each trick contains.  Even after magicians have reached the end of their show the audience is left wondering how the magicians have pulled off such elaborate tricks. In the twenty first century magic continues to entertain and captivate audiences on a globe scale thanks to the internet and cable television programs.

A couple of years ago a series of shows were produced that revealed secretes behind some of the most famous tricks preformed. The name of the series was called “Magic’s Biggest Secretes Revealed” and it consisted of four parts each part was an hour in length. On one show a masked magician revealed how he had made an elephant appear to have disappear through using mirrors and a multiple distractions. Then the masked magician went on to reveal the secret behind sawing a person in half, the person that is involved in the trick simply position his legs in the field position.

Thanks to magic show such as the one mentioned above many kids have been inspired to become magician or at the very least are inspired to learn some simple magic tricks. Now we will take a look at some easy to learn magic tricks which kids can learn to perform. Listed below is a simple fun magic trick which you can teach your children how to perform.

The disappearing coin

The material that is needed to perform this trick is just a simple coin. Therefore it is best to perform this trick while you are sitting at a table. The first thing that you want to do is to notify your audience that in order to make the coin disappear you will have to rub it on your elbow. Rub the coin on one elbow and let the coin drop to the table which will alter you audience that you are having problems performing the trick.

Therefore you will notify your audience that you will try using a different elbow to make the coin disappear. As you pick up the coin with your right hand and when you go rub the coin on your elbow pretend to switch it into another hand. Raise your right hand up to your high enough so that you can slowly slip the coin down your shirt after pretending to rub the coin on your elbow then displayed both hands revealing that at long last the trick has worked.

Once your child has mastered this trick then you can have them perform it in front of the entire family on family night. Teaching your children how to perform simple magic tricks can be fun for you as a parent and rewarding for your child. The level of mystery and suspense that comes with seeing magic tricks performed will continue to captivate audience for generation to come.
